Passage To India

|

Tuesday, I took a test to see if I can skip an Operating Systems class for my masters program. It was interesting, the first real student thing, I've had to do on campus. The test was at 2:30, so in order not to be late I got on campus at 12pm, just to make sure I knew where everything was, and to wander aimlessly around campus, trying to look like I belong and not damn near double the age of most of the people I saw.

Its test time and there are a few things I’ve noticed.

*80% of the people taking the test were from India.
*The other 20% were a mix of Indian women, white men and Asian men.

Those Indian men were cool, but they had, and odor. I’m not going to say they stank, but they defiantly had that “I don’t wear deodorant everyday” smell to them. I’m not tripping because I could see that the brothers were “Fresh Off The Boat” from India and it will take them a little time to get with the cultural norms of Southern California. Although being in the states hasn’t helped a few of my coworkers from getting with the cultural norms of Southern California either.

I’m not trippin’ I like Indians. My last job was filled with Indians, I’ve always admired their work ethic, because from my experience they will put in the hours it takes to get the job done.

One thing I will say is their women are defiantly fine.

P.S. Just got the results from the placement test I failed, so I guess I'll be taking it again in October, fuckers maybe this time I'll study.
