There are so many parts of the school experience, which you just don’t get unless you’re right there on campus.
It’s the truth.
On Sundays, I have a standing date with my Software Engineering group. Most of the time we discuss schoolwork, but we also talk about which professors are the best to take, or even better yet which professors are the best not to take. This is the type of information you just can’t get watching a class on Windows Media Player over the internet.
Graduate school is about studying but, so much of it is also about face to face interaction with the professors and the other students.
Just to think if I didn’t meet up with my team, I would have no idea who NOT to take for algorithms next semester.
