This weekend I had my second session of my Un-named Indian Goddess Tattoo. This one was much more tolerable then my first side panel tattoo appointment.
The side of the ribs are the most excruciating place to get tattooed that I know of, except maybe for the Solar plexus area. (I've only been told ) .Don't get it twisted and think that it didn’t hurt a whole bunch because it did, but I did learn one very important thing.
Relax.
Let me re-iterate that.
Just Relax, and breathe.
Aren't those two things, yea but remember them both.
When the pain starts my body wants to tense up, that is the wrong thing to do. I had to force myself to breath deeply and get intimate with the pain. Sounds crazy doesn't it but it';s the truth. Its kind of like stretching, which is s a time to get intimate with your own body.
Each area of your skin feels different when it is being inked. Let it go through you relax concentrate on breathing, I bet by the time your done with your full breath the line will be done.
Now only 3 more hours of that are you ready.
If not switch to Plan B, Vicodin.
